I completely redesigned my visual identity from the ground up.
Blank Design System
I created my own design system to
build my Website.
The reason I created a custom design system was to have the flexibility and freedom that comes with building something entirely my own. This also allows me to express myself in ways I otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Simon Wordmark
A refreshed "S" logo alongside the remaining letters of my name.
Since the second iteration of my portfolio, the “Super S” Logo has been a constant. It's shifted slightly over the years, but its core, the sense of simplicity and clarity, never wavered. So when it came time to build a new version in Figma, the natural next step was to complete what the S had always been hinting at: adding the remaining letters and finishing the "Simon" wordmark, once and for all.

The Evolution
Featuring horrible designs.
Some form of a portfolio website has existed since 2023. Logo, brand identity, the projects. What took a few years to figure out though, was to make one that didn't look terrible and actually made sense to navigate.
Below you can see how both the site and the logo evolved over time. Some earlier versions are lost to history because of relaunches and redesigns. Probably for the best though.
This will be replaced by an animation at some point trust

What comes next
This is just the beginning.
Plans for the future include more features, bolder animations, and an overall design expansion. I've also been toying with the idea of turning Blank DS into a proper, publicly available design system, though that's so far off it might happen around the same time I pivot careers and start harvesting grapes somewhere in the countryside.
